Fort lee High School’s Academy of Theatre Arts and Thespian Society will be staging the timeless classic Fiddler on the Roof on April 23, 24 and 25 beginning at 7:30 in the high school auditorium. The story is that of Tevye, a Jewish milkman with five daughters, tells of the customs in the little Russian town of Anatevka. It is 1905, and life here is as precarious as a fiddler on the roof, yet, through their traditions, the villagers endure and Tevye’s older three daughters find love despite their traditions and Yente, the matchmaker. All who attend will find themselves singing along to the songs and for those who watch for the first time will find themselves humming the tunes long after the curtain closes.

Miles E. Reme died in a car crash on July 24, 2014. Although he was only 20 years old he left a lasting impression on a lot of people he met.
He attended Fort Lee High School and was a scholar athlete. He played 4 years of baseball and he loved basketball as well. Miles continued his education at Syracuse University and would have been in his junior year.
His parents, Ralph and Debbie, have established a scholarship fund to be awarded to a deserving scholar athlete from the Fort Lee High School Senior Class. Their hope is to continue this scholarship for years to come, by doing so, they will be honoring Miles' memory while helping deserving students.
Ralph and Debbie would also like to purchase a memoriam in honor of Miles: a new message board to be placed in front of Fort Lee High School. It will state, In Memory of Miles E. Reme.
Please help these wishes of Miles' parents come true in honor of their son.
Your donations will be greatly appreciated to help keep Miles' memory alive and to continue to help a deserving scholar athlete. [More Information]
