Any questions or concerns please have parents or staff go to the Fort Lee Health Dept  website at www.fortleenj.org or call 201-592-3500 x1510.

A Message from the Health Department:

The Fort Lee Board of Health is now recommending all students returning from travel in Italy, Iran, South Korea and China to stay home from school for 14 days upon return to the US. If the student has already returned to school, he/she should be taken out for the remainder of the time, up to 14 days.   It is instead recommended for families of asymptomatic students returning from travel to speak with the school nurse, and all students who are ill should report symptoms to the school.

Please refer to the link below for the most up-to-date guidance provided by the NJDOH.  Additionally, for our awareness here at the Health Department, we are requesting for your school nurses to inform to our Public Health Nurse Supervisor, Aben Lee (a-lee@fortleenj.org), of any students with known travel to countries with travel advisories (as updated at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html).

Thank you.  We will be certain to provide you with pertinent updates as received.  You may also find information provided at the below link helpful with regard to preparedness, especially the expanded information found in numbers 1 through 4 under the paragraph, The actions your school takes and the plans you make today make a difference… .
