Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Day on March 2

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Day
Posted on 02/26/2026
Our district is proud to recognize Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Day on March 2, which kicks off SEL Week for students in grades 5-12! SEL Week provides opportunities to highlight the importance of building strong relationships, developing self awareness, and strengthening the skills that help students succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Throughout the week, students in grades 5-12 will participate in age-appropriate activities and discussions designed to encourage positive peer connections, build empathy and respect for others, promote healthy ways to manage stress and emotions, and strengthen problem-solving and decision-making skills. By prioritizing social and emotional growth alongside academic learning, we continue our commitment to supporting the whole child.

We are proud of the many ways our students demonstrate kindness, resilience, leadership, and responsibility each day and look forward to celebrating their continued growth during SEL Week!
