The American Rescue Plan Act (ARP Act) provides $122 billion in funding to States and school districts to facilitate the safe reopening and operation of schools.  In order to receive its allocation of these funds, every school district must first develop a plan (Safe Return Plan) that provides information on various areas of operation, allow public comment, and submit the plan with our application to the New Jersey Department of Education.  Public comment will be taken into account prior to the submission of this phase of the grant application.  Public comment will be accepted at the Public Board of Education Meeting on Monday, June 21, 2021 or via the link provided: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSebpN3JXOHh3EFptot4one9NdFL6pEelBaKWGY25v7h7Eq3ew/viewform?usp=sf_link The Safe Return Plan must be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Education by June 24, 2021.
