Dear Parents/Guardians,

We encourage all of our Fort Lee School District families to complete the 2024-2025 Free and Reduced Meal Application online at https://www.payschoolscentral.com/ .  Before you begin, have your child(ren)'s Student ID number(s), income information for all household members, and SNAP/TANF/FDPIR case # (if applicable).  You can find your child's Student ID number by logging into the Genesis Parent Portal. Enter all requested information completely and accurately as errors and omissions may delay the processing of the application.  Please refer to the attached PaySchools instructions for guidance.

Please keep in mind, the Free & Reduced Meal Application should be completed annually between mid-August and September to determine your children's eligibility for free or reduced meals each year.  However, you may submit a Free and Reduced Meal Application at any time during the school year (i.e. change in family size and/or income, new to school district, etc.).

Dear Parents/Guardians,

PaySchools Central, will experience a rate adjustment on February 12, 2025 for credit card transactions. The new effective rate is 3.25% plus $1.25 per credit card transaction.  

Please be advised of additional payment options:

• PaySchools Electronic Check (E-Check): The fee for this payment option remains the same at a flat fee of $1.75 per E-Check transaction.
• Check or Money Order: Avoid transaction fees by funding your child's meal accounts with a check or money order. You may make checks or money orders payable to the Fort Lee Board of Education, on the memo line write "Lunch" your child's name & student id #, and submit the payment to your child's school. 

Please note: During school year 2024-2025, students who qualify for free or reduced meal status would not incur transaction fees relating to their free meal.  However, if the child's account would be funded to cover the cost of additional items or meals (i.e. Extra slice of pizza, cookie, etc.) the transaction fee would be incurred.
