The 2023-2024 Free & Reduced Meal Status will be expiring on October 18, 2024. As a result, any students who have not yet qualified for Free & Reduced Meal Status by properly completing the 2024-2025 Free and Reduced Meal Application and being deemed eligible will be required to pay for their school meals beginning Monday, October 21, 2024.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A: 7C-6.6, school districts and charter schools must, by October 1 of each year, provide parents or guardians certain information on any State assessment of commercially developed standardized assessment that will be administered in that school year. The following information pertains to Fort Lee School Districts’ standardized assessments being administered during the 2024-2025 school year

School Self-Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act

The Fort Lee Public Schools administers benchmark assessments to students in grades K-12 to help monitor their progress in reading and math. We use STAR assessments for all students in grades K-12, and for students in grades K-4, we also assess additional reading skills with the Fountas and Pinnell benchmark assessments. These assessments are given at least three times a year—fall, winter, and spring—to help teachers understand how well students are learning.

This report details the methods and findings of the lead in drinking water services as per New Jersey state regulations (amendments to N.J.A.C 6A:26 Educational Facilities) performed within the Fort Lee Public Schools (the “Facilities”).

Our school system is committed to protecting student, teacher, and staff health. To protect our community and be in compliance with the Department of Education regulations, the District tested our school’s drinking water for lead.
